New Order

New Order were an English electro/art-pop band from Manchester that released five albums and a compilation of non-album material on Factory between 1981 and 1989. The band comprised three-fourths of Joy Division with guitarist Bernard Sumner assuming vocal duties after the suicide of Ian Curtis. Soon after the name-change, drummer Stephen Morris invited his keyboardist-girlfriend Gillian Gilbert to complete the lineup.
