The Chocolate Jam Co.

The Chocolate Jam Co. were an American studio-based soul-funk band that released two albums on Epic in 1979 and 1980, the second featuring drummer/vocalist/producer Leon Chancler’s moniker “Ndugu” affixed to the nameplate.

Members: Leon “Ndugu” Chancler (lead vocals, drums, percussion), Leo Miller (vocals), Virginia Ayers (vocals), Byron Miller (bass), Maxi Anderson (vocals), Reggie Andrews (keyboards, arranger), Al McKay (guitar)
