Murray Head (born March 5, 1946) is an English singer/songwriter and actor from London who released the album Nigel Lived on CBS in 1972, followed by Say It Ain’t So on Island in 1975. Between 1979 and 1986, he released six proper albums on Philips, Mercury, and Virgin. In 1984, he scored an international hit with “One Night in Bangkok,” lifted from the Tim Rice/Benny Andersson/Björn Ulvaeus musical Chess.
