Rita Jean Bodine

Rita Jean Bodine — aka Rita Suzanne Hertzberg (born Sept. 1, 1949) — is an American vocalist from Los Angeles who released two soul-rock albums on 20th Century Records in 1974. Seven years earlier, she cut a pair of singles with girl-group The Babies. She also notched a handful of backing-vocal credits during the 1970s with appearances on albums by Rita Coolidge, Richard Clapton, Blondie Chaplin, and psych-rockers Spider, among others.
