The Box Tops were an American pop-rock band that released four 1967–69 albums on Bell Records. They are best known for the hits “Choo Choo Train,” “Soul Deep,” and the Billboard chart-toppers “Cry Like a Baby” and “The Letter.” Singer Alex Chilton later fronted Big Star.
