Kiki Dee

Kiki Dee — aka Pauline Matthews (born March 6, 1947) — is an English pop-rock vocalist from Bradford, West Yorkshire, who released a slew of singles on Fontana during the mid-1960s, culminating with an album on the label in 1968. After recording her sophomoric longplayer for Tamla Motown in 1970, she released four albums on Rocket Records between 1973 and 1978, followed by a seventh album on Ariola in 1981. Her lost 1976 album Cage the Songbird — recorded months before her profile-raising duet with Rocket-head Elton John — was issued 32 years after the fact by EMI.
