Robert Fripp & The League of Gentlemen

The League of Gentlemen were an English art-punk band that released a self-titled album on E’G/Polydor in 1981. The band was led by guitarist Robert Fripp and named after an R&B/beat act he had played in during the mid-1960s. The Gentleman also included former-XTC/future-Shriekback keyboardist Barry Andrews alongside bassist Sara Lee, who subsequently joined Gang of Four and later served as a fifth-wheel for the B-52’s.
