Gordon Haskell

Gordon Haskell (April 27, 1946 — Oct. 15, 2020) was an English musician, vocalist, and songwriter who emerged in the beat combo Les Fleur de Lys during the mid-1960s. As a solo artist, he released the album Sail in My Boat on CBS in 1969, followed by the popular It Is and It Isn’t on Atco in 1971. Between those albums, he briefly served in King Crimson, appearing on the 1970 albums In the Wake of Poseidon and Lizard. During the mid-1970s, he had a brief stint with Stackridge, rerecording his composition “No One’s More Important Than the Earth Worm” on their 1975 album Extravaganza.
