Tiger were an English hard-rock ensemble of the mid-1970s. Led by veteran session guitarist Big Jim Sullivan, the band issued back-to-back albums on EMI in 1976.
Members: Big Jim Sullivan (guitar), Nicky Moore (vocals), Les Walker (vocals), Ray Flacke (guitar), Phil Curtis (bass), Billy Rankin (drums), Dave MacRae (keyboards), Bill McGillivray (guitar, keyboards), Alan Park (keyboards), Andy Brown (bass), Percy Jones (bass), Simon Phillips (drums)
Between the two albums, the core of Sullivan, Rankin, Walker, and Moore are backed by assorted studio hands. Musically, Tiger strike a balance between hearty unison riff-work, refined vocal/harmony moments, and lengthy lick-laden instrumental passages.
