Howard Werth

Howard Werth (born March 26, 1947) is an English singer, guitarist, and songwriter from Upper Clapton, London, who recorded four albums with the folk-psych band Audience between 1969 and 1972. He reemerged in 1975 with the album King Brilliant on Charisma, produced by Gus Dudgeon with backing by assorted studio personnel, informally dubbed “The Moonbeams.” In 1978, Werth issued a standalone single on the L.A. New Wave small-press Dangerhouse. His final release was the 1982 album 6 of 1 and Half a Dozen of the Other on self-press Metabop Records.
