Hookfoot were an English rustic/hard-rock band that released four albums on A&M/DJM between 1971 and 1974. An earlier recording from 1969 was issued four decades later by AMR Archive. The band consisted of DJM house musicians who backed Elton John on his early recordings for the label.
Members: Caleb Quaye (guitar, piano, vocals), Ian Duck (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Roger Pope (drums), David Glover (bass, 1969-72), Fred Gandy (bass, 1972-74)
