Dave Davies

Dave Davies (born Feb. 3, 1947) is an English guitarist, songwriter, and singer who played in The Kinks with older brother Ray Davies between 1963 and 1995. During the late 1960s, Dave issued a string of singles on Pye that were alternately credited to the band. A solo album was planned during this period but never materialized. He ultimately released two solo albums on RCA in 1980 and 1981, followed by the album Chosen People on Warner Bros. in 1983.
