Pazop

Pazop were a Belgian avant-jazz/rock band that was active during the early 1970s. In 1972, the band issued the single “Captain Black” / “Morning” on the French Barclay label. That same year, an album’s worth of material was recorded that would ultimately be shelved until 1996 when Musea issued the archival CD Psychillis of a Lunatic Genius.

In 1973, the members of Pazop masqueraded as the Modern Classic Quintet for the classical parody album Opéra Pop, issued on Carabine.
