White Spirit

White Spirit were an English hard-rock/metal band from Hartlepool, Durham, that was active between 1975 and 1981. In 1980, the band issued a standalone single on NWOBHM-specialty label Neat Records, followed by a self-titled album on MCA. Guitarist Janick Gers subsequently joined Gillan for two albums and later earned tenure with Iron Maiden.
