Universal Robot Band was an American soul-funk project assembled by producers Patrick Adams and Greg Carmichael with musical backing from the N.Y.C. band Pipeline. The projected yielded two albums on Red Greg Records during 1977 and 1978. The backing band changed its name to Kleeer and issued seven albums on Atlantic between 1979 and 1985.
