Lenny Williams

Lenny Williams (born Feb. 6, 1945) is an American soul singer from Little Rock, Ark., who sang with Tower of Power on three albums during the early 1970s, appearing on the band’s 1973 self-titled release and staying for the following year’s Back to Oakland and Urban Renewal. After leaving the band, he released Pray for the Lion on Warner Bros. in 1974, followed by Rise Sleeping Beauty on Motown in 1975. A pair of albums on ABC and a trio of titles on MCA followed between 1977 and 1981.
