The Trip

The Trip were an Italian symphonic-rock/psych band that released three albums on RCA Italiana between 1970 and 1972, followed by a fourth on Trident in 1973. The band was originally formed in England during the mid-1960s and briefly included guitarist Richie Blackmore.

Members: Arvid “Wegg” Andersen (bass, vocals), Joe Vescovi (keyboards, vocals), Billy Gray (guitar, vocals, 1966-71), Ian Broad (drums, 1966-67), Ritchie Blackmore (guitar, 1966), Pino Sinnone (drums, 1967-72), Furio Chirico (drums, 1972, 1974-present), Nunzio Favia (drums, 1974)
