Cactus were an American hard-rock/blues band from NYC that released four albums on Atco between 1970 and 1972. Drummer Carmine Appice and bassist Tim Bogert hailed from psych-rockers Vanilla Fudge. The pair would subsequently team with guitarist Jeff Beck in the power-trio Beck, Bogart and Appice.
