Straight from the Gate is the first autonomous album by American jazz-funk five-piece the Headhunters, released in 1975 on Arista. The album was co-produced by Herbie Hancock, who assembled the band for backup on his 1973–75 releases Head Hunters, Thrust, and Man-Child.
