Straight from the Gate is an album by American jazz-funk five-piece the Headhunters, released in 1977 on Arista. The album is the band’s second of two ’70s-era longplayers recorded independently of Herbie Hancock, who originally formed the band for backup on his 1973 release Head Hunters.
