Futurama is the second album by English art-rock band Be-Bop Deluxe, released in 1975 on Harvest. Music writer George Starostin likens the songs to “free-form post-Shakesperian monologs.”

I prefer the spontaneous, fluid, flamboyant energy of Futurama and the cybernetic, space-age austerity of Drastic Plastic. I think the two ’76 albums could have been paired down to one solid set with “Shine” included.
