Moon Riders

The Moon Riders are a Japanese art-pop band from Tokyo that debuted on the 1974 multi-artist live album 1973.9.21 Show Boat 素晴しき船出. They issued their first proper album on Elektra Japan in 1976, followed by three albums on Panam/Crown in 1977/78. Their next two albums appeared on Orplid/Crown in 1979/80, followed by another pair on Japan Record in 1982.

Members: 鈴木慶一 [Keiichi Suzuki] (vocals, guitar), 岡田徹 [Tohru Okada] (keyboards), Tetsuro Kashibuchi (drums), 武川雅寛 [Masahiro Takekawa] (violin), 鈴木博文 [Hirobumi Suzuki] (bass), 椎名和夫 [Kazuo Shiina] (guitar, 1975-77), 白井良明 [Ryomei Shirai] (guitar, 1977-present)
