Bear were an American pop-psych band from New York that released the album Greetings, Children of Paradise on Verve Forecast in 1968. The band were initially called The Children of Paradise for a standalone 1967 single on Columbia. Keyboardist Eric Kaz proceeded to the Blues Magoos and issued two solo albums on Atlantic before resurfacing in American Flyer.
