Alan Hawkshaw (born March 23, 1937) is an English pianist and composer from Leeds who released 25 albums of library music between 1968 and 1978, mostly on KPM Music and Music de Wolfe, followed by another round of titles on Bruton Music and Music House during the 1980s and early ’90s. In 1970, he partook in the psych-rock studio projects Hungry Wolf and Rumplestiltskin. He later assembled another studio band, Bullet, to record the soundtrack to the 1975 ITV series The Hanged Man, released that year on Polydor-subsidiary Contour.
