Dio were an American metal band fronted by namesake veteran hard-rock vocalist Ronnie James Dio (Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath). The band released four albums on Warner Bros. between 1983 and 1987, followed by titles on Reprise, Steamhammer, and Spitfire during the subsequent two decades.
