Pilot was an American soul-rock band that released a self-titled album in 1971 on RCA Victor.

Members: Bruce Stephens (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Leigh Stephens (electric guitar), Martin Quittenton (acoustic guitar), Neville Whitehead (bass), Mick Waller (drums)

Pilot formed in London in 1971 when two ex-members of American hard-rockers Blues Cheer, Bruce Stephens and Leigh Stephens (no relation), teamed with two members of Rod Stewart‘s backing band: guitarist Martin Quittenton and journeyman blues-rock drummer Mick Waller. Kiwi jazz bassist Neville Whitehead completed the lineup.
