Lonette McKee

Lonette McKee (born July 22, 1954) is an American singer, songwriter, and actress from Detroit who released the album Lonette on Sussex Records in 1974, followed by Words and Music on Warner Bros. in 1978. As an actress, she’s appeared in more than 30 movies, including Sparkle (1976), The Cotton Club (1984), and Malcolm X (1992).
