Emily Bindiger

Emily Bindiger (born May 10, 1955) is an American singer/songwriter from Brooklyn who released the chamber-folk/psych album Emily on the French Pathé label in 1972. An appearance on Leonard Cohen’s 1974 release New Skin for the Old Ceremony is her only other credit from the decade. She reappeared with two pop singles on Handshake Records and Tapes in 1980/81. Between 1981 and 1986, she played the role of musical space-traveler Francine in the children’s television series The Great Space Coaster.
