Bobby Boyd Congress

The Bobby Boyd Congress were an American soul-funk band from N.Y.C. that relocated to Paris, where they released a self-titled album on Vadim Music in 1971. After the band’s namesake frontman returned to the states, the others members morphed into the Lafayette Afro Rock Band and also recorded concurrently as Ice.
