Chicago VII is the sixth studio album by American jazz-rock band Chicago, released in 1974 on Columbia Records. Comprised of an instrumental jazz-rock LP and an art-pop/soul LP, the album is the fourth and final studio double-set in the band’s catalogue. The cover is a faux-leather engraving that depicts key events in the history of Chicago, Ill.
