Zolar X

Zolar X were an American space-art/rock band that was active on the Los Angeles club circuit during the mid-1970s. The band was a popular local draw due to its theatrical presentation and alien-style getup, but no records emerged from the period. Between 1974 and 1976, the band recorded more than an album’s worth of material that, in 1982, was given a limited-quantity release on clear-vinyl by small-press Pyramid. The compilation received a wider CD release on Alternative Tentacles in 2004.
