Nile Rodgers

Nile Rodgers (born Sept. 19, 1952) is an American soul-funk musician, songwriter, and producer from NYC who emerged as the guitarist/mastermind of Chic with musical partner Bernard Edwards. As a solo artist, Rodgers released the album Adventures in the Land of the Good Groove on Mirage Records in 1983, followed by B-Movie Matinee on Warner Bros. in 1985.
