Enzo Capuano is an Italian singer/songwriter who released the 1975 album Storia Mai Scritta on Divergo/Produzioni D’Essai.
Background
Enzo Capuano was born March 1, 1947, in Catanzaro, Calabria. Capuano left Calabria in the early 1960s for Bologna, where he earned an industrial chemistry degree with full marks. He taught himself guitar with little formal music training.
Capuano moved to Milan and performed with I Tramps and I Giaguari, then began presenting original songs. He contributed guitar to the 1973 Mario Panseri album Adolescenza, a song cycle based on the Alberto Moravia novel Agostino. Mario De Luigi and Sergio Lodi selected Capuano for the opening roster of their new Milan label Divergo. Capuano began sessions for Storia mai scritta with keyboardist Mario Panseri and percussionist Giovanni D’Aquila.
