Boule Noire — aka Georges Thurston (Dec. 29, 1951 — June 18, 2007) — was a Québécois soul-funk artist who released two albums on Disques Magique in 1976 and 1977, followed by another pair of albums on Les Disques Martin at decade’s end. A further pair of titles appeared on Polydor and Zion Yant during the early 1980s.
