Crypto is an album by the namesake Dutch jazz-rock band, released in 1975 on Negram.

“Ribatejo” kicks in with a sputtering ARP riff over a 3/4 bass ostinato in F#. The theme is interspersed with a Gm/Eb bridge, overlaid with staccato Fender runs and oozing guitar scales.

“Funk for Farmers” octave bass figure in A syncopated snare pattern.

“Gallfly” steamy Mellotron and searing guitar sustains in G soaring to D/Cmaj7 diamond Fender runs … wiling scales over Clavinet

“Melon Cactus” jerky, angular descent from B of hyperactive bass and drums as the Fe3nder noodles upwards through spacey cymbals and spiraling fretboard runs. The speed and density intensifies along a ‘tron-blown stretch in Dm.
