Linton Kwesi Johnson

Linton Kwesi Johnson (born Aug. 24, 1952) is a Jamaican dub/roots-reggae artist who, under the moniker Poet and the Roots, released the popular album Dread Beat an’ Blood on Front Line in 1978, followed by four further albums under his own name on Island between 1979 and 1984.
