King Tubby

King Tubby — aka Osbourne Ruddock (Jan. 28, 1941 — Feb. 6, 1989) — was a Jamaican dub/roots-reggae artist and deejay who released a string of albums on Klick, Attack, and Total Sounds during the early 1970s, culminating in the popular In Dub Conference series on Moodisc between 1976 and 1978. A further round of titles appeared on KG Imperial, Sky Juice, and other labels during the 1980s.
