Kimio Mizutani

Kimio Mizutani — 水谷公生 (June 17, 1947) — is a Japanese jazz-rock guitarist who was involved in several notable group projects that yielded albums in 1971, including People, Love Live Life, The Mannheim Rock Ensemble, Akira Ishikawa’s Count Buffalos, and Masahiko Sato’s Sound Breakers. That same year, Mizutani released the album A Path Through Haze on Polydor. He remained active as a studio musician well into the next decade, playing on albums by Kaze, Jiro Sugita, Takashi Nishioka, and numerous other artists.
