Masahiko Sato — 佐藤允彦 (born Oct. 6, 1941) — is a Japanese jazz pianist and composer who has appeared on more than 200 albums since the late 1960s. In 1969, he partook in the post-bop quartet Four Units, which released one album on Union Records. Between 1970 and 1990, he released numerous albums in solo and collaborative form on Columbia, Denon Jazz, Openskye, and numerous other labels. During the early 1980s, he recorded two albums with jazz-funk combo Medical Sugar Bank.
