Cortex were a French samba-jazz/funk combo that released two albums and a standalone single on Espérance between 1975 and 1977, followed by a third longplayer on Crypto in 1978. A 54-minute disc of material for a shelved 1979 album was ultimately released by archivists Underdog Records in 2006.
