Juan de la Cruz Band

The Juan de la Cruz Band were a Filipino hard-rock group from Manila that released three studio albums and two live discs on Sunshine between 1972 and 1978, followed by a final album on Blackgold in 1981. Guitarist Wally Gonzalez cut two solo albums during the late 1970s.

Members: Wally Gonzalez (lead guitar, vocals), Clifford Ho (bass, vocals), Rene Sogueco (piano, organ, vocals), Romy Santos (alto saxophone, baritone saxophone, flute, clarinet), Bobot Guerrero (drums), Sandy Tagarro (vocals, drums), Mike Hanopol (bass, piano), Joseph “Pepe” Smith (drums, acoustic guitar), Nides Aranza-Mendez (drums), Nick Boogie (drums)
