Hudson-Ford were an English pop-rock band that released three albums on A&M between 1973 and 1975, followed by a fourth on CBS in 1977. The band was headed by the namesake team of guitarist/singer Richard Hudson and bassist/singer John Ford, who jointly originated in the late-’60s pop-psych band Velvet Opera and then did a four-album stint with the Strawbs between 1970 and 1973. In 1979, the pair assembled spoof-punks The Monks for a two-album, multi-single run.
