Bloody Mary

Bloody Mary was an American hard-rock/psych band that released a self-titled album on Artie Ripp’s Family Productions label in 1974. The album was produced by veteran songwriter and arranger Vinny Testa, whose prior credits include albums by Pookah, Frijid Pink, Liquid Smoke, and Bull Angus. Though the title has twice been reissued by the unofficial Limited Records label, few details of the band or its members have come to light. According to one rumor, Bloody Mary was a pseudonym for Sir Lord Baltimore, but this has been denied by that band’s drummer/vocalist John Garner.(1)
