Blackjack were an American hard-rock band from New York that released two albums on Polydor in 1979/80. Guitarist Bruce Kulick briefly joined the Good Rats before scoring a long-term gig with Kiss. Frontman Michael Bolton released a pair of hard-rock solo albums and ultimately achieved superstardom as an adult-contemporary balladeer. Bassist Jimmy Haslip has worked with numerous jazz-rock/funk artists, including Jeff Lorber, Robben Ford, Ubiquity, and the Yellowjackets. Drummer Sandy Gennaro joined Pat Travers early ’80s backing band.
