The Monkees

The Monkees were an American pop-rock band that released eight albums between 1966 and 1969 on Colgems–RCA Victor. They starred in a musical comedy show that ran for two seasons on NBC. Their hits include “(Theme from) The Monkees,” “A Little Bit Me, a Little Bit You,” “Pleasant Valley Sunday,” “Valleri,” and the Billboard No. 1’s “Last Train to Clarksville,” “I’m a Believer,” and “Daydream Believer.”

Members: Micky Dolenz (vocals, drums, synthesizer, guitar), Davy Jones (vocals, percussion, bass, guitar, piano, drums, 1965-2012), Michael Nesmith (vocals, guitar, keyboards, harmonica, 1965-70, 1986, 1989, 1996-97, 2012-15, 2020-21), Peter Tork (vocals, keyboards, bass, piano, guitar, banjo, 1965-68, 1986-89, 1995-2001, 2011-19)
