Swegas

Swegas were a German brass-rock band that released two albums and a standalone single on BASF and Trend in 1970 and 1971.

Members: Nick Ronai (trombone), Brian “Joe” Spibey (vocals, trumpet, 1969-70), Alan Smith (alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, piano, 1969-?), Jonny Toogood (guitar, 1969-?), Keith Strachan (vocals, keyboards, 1969-71), Roy Truman (bass, 1969-71), John “Legato” Legg (alto saxophone, baritone saxophone, flute, 1969-71), Chris Dawe (trumpet, flugelhorn, 1969-70), Nick Thomas (tenor saxophone, 1969-?), Chrys Chrysostomou (drums, 1969-?), Ron Shillingford (soprano saxophone, tenor saxophone, flute, 1969-71), Stewart Wilkinson (vocals, guitar, 1970-71), Maurice McElroy (drums, 1970), Billy Hogan (drums, 1970-71), John “Lennie” Macnicol (trumpet, 1970-71)
