Spizz

Spizz was the performance alias of English art-punk musician and singer Kenneth Spiers, who applied the moniker to a shifting sequence of band-names between 1977 and 1982, starting with Spizz 77 and preceding to Spizzoil, which issued a three-song single and recorded a Peel session in 1978. The following year, two singles were issued on Rough Trade under the name Spizzenergi. In 1980, he renamed his band for the fourth time to Athletico Spizz 80 and released the album Do a Runner on A&M, followed by the 1981 release Spikey Dream Flowers as Spizzles. Back on Rough Trade, his band released two further singles in 1982 under the name Spizzenergi2.
