Pepeu Gomes (born Feb. 7, 1952) is a Brazilian guitarist who played in the band Novos Baianos during the 1970s. In 1978, he debuted as a solo artist with the album Geração de som on Epic, followed by four titles on Elektra between 1979 and 1982. The ensuing decade yielded seven further albums on CBS and WEA.
