Mort Garson

Mort Garson (July 20, 1924 — Jan. 4, 2008) was a Canadian electronic musician and composer from Saint John, New Brunswick, who released a sting of Moog-psych albums on Elektra and A&M during the late 1960s, including a series of spoken word discs dedicated to the 12 signs of the zodiac. During the 1970s, he released experimental albums under the monikers Lucifer, “Z”, and Ataraxia. He also cut funk singles under the pseudonyms Lords of Percussion and Captain D.J.
