Mkwaju Ensemble

Mkwaju Ensemble were a Japanese post-minimalist project that yielded two albums on Better Days in 1981.

Members: 高田みどり [Midori Takada] (percussion, vibraphone, gong, marimba, tom tom), Yoji Sadanari (percussion, vibraphone, gong, marimba, tom tom), 久石譲 [Joe Hisaishi] (producer, keyboards), 松武秀樹 [Hideki Matsutake] (programming), Junko Arase (marimba), Pecker (percussion), 千野秀一 [Shuichi Chino] (synthesizer), Shuichi “Ponta” Murakami (drums)
